American National can write the following:
- Risks that raise beef cattle to be sold live
- Risks that raise beef cattle to be sent to a USDA slaughter facility and sell their meat
- Show/Breeding stock
- Specific vs. Blanket coverage for livestock/machinery/farm products supplies/tools
- Hay property average coverages, allows for fluctuating monthly values and limited coverage to hay stored outside
- Named perils coverage for livestock that can be insured specifically or blanketed.
American National DOES NOT write the following:
- Commercial feedlots that confine and feed NON-OWNED livestock for more than 45 consecutive for the purpose of growing out to slaughter IF it generates more than 25% of the gross farm sales from this operation
- Risks that are commercial slaughterhouse operations
